Brittany Crouch LEED AP BD+C
Project Manager
With over twenty years of experience focused on public safety architecture, Brittany has served as design lead on more than thirty fire stations and municipal projects across Colorado, including work for Thornton, Pueblo, Arvada, Brighton, North Metro, and Frederick Firestone.
She brings deep technical fluency in fire station programming, hot/warm/cold zoning, and the operational realities of buildings that are both workplaces and homes. Known for a detailed approach, client-first mindset, and a habit of teaching the why behind every design decision, Brittany designs spaces that function the way crews need them to and stay within the budgets fire districts work with.
Brittany has built her career around the people who use the buildings she designs. She earned her Bachelor of Environmental Design at the University of Colorado Boulder and stepped straight into the architecture profession from there, focusing almost exclusively on a building type most architects never touch: fire stations and the municipal facilities that support them. She has served as design lead on more than thirty across Colorado, learning the operational realities of the work from the chiefs, crews, and city teams she has partnered with along the way.
Brittany is the kind of designer who teaches the why behind every decision. Her command of technical detail is exceptional, and chiefs and contractors rely on her recall during construction. She works closely with her clients from initial programming through construction administration, and is known for proactive submittal review and quick turnaround on field questions, both of which keep projects on schedule. She knows funding is one of the biggest hurdles fire districts face, and she designs accordingly: buildings that function the way crews need them to, built within the budgets districts work with. Above all, she prioritizes the health, safety, and day-to-day experience of the firefighters who call her stations home. She considers her clients family.
Outside the office, Brittany prioritizes creating memorable times with her family. Most weekends she and her husband will be in the stands cheering on their daughters at sporting events, and the rest of her time off is spent at the lake, or in Mexico, soaking up sunshine and water with the people she loves.
