This project includes the design and construction administration of approximately 30,000 square feet of new building area at Deer Lodge Medical Center, a critical access hospital in Deer Lodge, Montana. The additions are carefully integrated into the existing hospital campus to support expanded services, improved wayfinding, and long-term adaptability. The architecture emphasizes clear organization, durable materials, and a horizontal, human-scaled expression that complements the existing facility while strengthening the overall campus identity.
Future phases will focus on the phased renovation of existing interior spaces, strategically sequenced to allow hospital operations to continue uninterrupted. These renovations will impact and reconfigure multiple departments, including Central Supply, Imaging, Clinical Areas, Physical Therapy, outpatient services, and a new Surgery Department. Together, the new construction and interior upgrades modernize critical clinical and support spaces while reinforcing an environment that is efficient, intuitive, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors.
