Windsor Public Works & Parks

Completed in 2017, Windsor’s Public Works Facility expansion project consisted of 6 buildings over 9 acres and included a new museum collections facility and maintenance shop as well as an expansion of a cold storage facility and administrative building. Not only did the new collections facility allow for historical artifacts to be housed in a climate controlled and fire protected environment, but it also enabled the town to continue to accept donations into its collections. The expansion of the administrative building provided additional office space while the expansion of the cold storage facility allowed staff to protect equipment from the elements.
