Infusion Architects Announces Early and Under-Budget Completion of Windsor Police Department Headquarters

Windsor, Colo. – March 5, 2025 – Infusion Architects is proud to announce the successful completion of the Windsor Police Department’s new headquarters, delivered two months ahead of schedule and under budget. This state-of-the-art facility, located at 960 N. 15th St., is a testament to our commitment to designing efficient, functional, and community-centered spaces.

The 43,330-square-foot facility replaces the department’s previous building on 11th St. The existing facility housed 30-35 sworn officers, which no longer accommodated the department’s growing force of 52 sworn officers and 13 civilian staff. The new station provides expanded operational capabilities, including modern training spaces, a multipurpose conference area, and advanced evidence processing facilities, ensuring that Windsor’s law enforcement team is well-equipped to serve the community.

“Delivering this project ahead of schedule and within budget underscores our dedication to efficiency and quality,” said Melissa Lanning, Project Manager at Infusion Architects. “From the initial design phase to final completion, we worked closely with the Town of Windsor and the Police Department to create a space that will serve the community for decades to come.”

The Town of Windsor funded this approximately $30 million project entirely through on-hand funds, utilizing the town’s Capital Improvement Fund and cash reserves, to avoid any new debt or financing. Infusion Architects’ commitment to budget-conscious design and project management allowed The Town to incorporate additional features without exceeding costs.

“This facility is a reflection of Windsor’s commitment to public safety, and we’re honored to have been part of its development,” said Andy Croxton, Project Manager at Infusion Architects. “By understanding the department and community needs, we designed a facility that not only meets today’s demands but also allows for future growth.”

Infusion Architects remain committed to designing spaces that strengthen and enhance the communities they serve. We are honored to have played a role in this critical project and look forward to seeing its impact on Windsor’s residents and law enforcement team.
