Ault Town Hall and Police Department

The Town of Ault set out to unite its government offices and police department under a single roof, replacing scattered operations with one cohesive civic home. The vision was a facility flexible enough to serve a growing community, secure enough to support modern law enforcement, and welcoming enough to feel like a true center of town life. This new building answers all three.

The result is a new 18,000 SF single-story municipal facility that brings together the Town Hall and Police Department in one purpose-built home. The Town Hall side features administrative offices, a 60 seat courtroom, and a welcoming lobby, while the Police Department side supports daily operations with evidence processing, an armory, a sallyport, detention cells, and a fitness center. The site accommodates 139 parking spaces, security fencing, and designated areas for 6,525 SF of future expansion. A mix of stone veneer and vertical board and batten gives the building a strong civic identity, while inviting interior finishes including dark wood accents, ballistic rated millwork in public areas, and specialized acoustic wall panels balance security with comfort.
