Windsor Development Center

Completed in 2025, the Windsor Development Center gave the Town of Windsor’s former Police Department building a second life. When the department moved into its new headquarters, also designed by Infusion Architects, the Town saw an opportunity rather than an empty building. We converted the facility at 200 11th Street into a single home for Planning, Engineering, Building Services, and Economic Development, bringing four departments that residents and builders work with constantly under one roof and behind one counter.

The renovation reshaped a hardened public safety building into an open, daylit civic workplace, and carved a large training and meeting room out of the northwest corner for staff training, department gatherings, and community use. Infusion Architects led architecture and interior design and coordinated structural, mechanical, electrical, and technology design throughout. The result is a building the Town already owned, working harder for the people it serves.
